Quick start fermentation bed method

Starting a pig fermentation bed efficiently and quickly is a concern for many users. The functional bacteria in Jinbao’s fermentation bedding aids are most effective when the ambient temperature is between 10°C and 15°C. Some customers ask whether they need to add active agents or not, depending on the microbial activity. Newly produced fermentation bed cultures usually have high bacterial activity, so no additional agents are needed. However, after prolonged use, the bacterial efficiency may decrease, making it beneficial to add some active agents. Regardless of whether you choose to use an activator or not, there are several important steps to follow when starting the Jinbao fermentation bed:

1) Start with fresh pig manure and urine. This method is often referred to as "starting with the occasion." Once the fermentation bedding material is ready, place it in a specific area where pigs tend to urinate—usually a few square meters. When the pigs urinate, collect the hot fresh urine and mix it immediately with the golden baby fermentation aid. Then, evenly blend it with the sawdust bedding and cover it. Fresh pig waste has a body temperature of around 30°C or higher, which provides ideal heat for the functional microbes to begin fermentation. This process, known as "foreign exchange," helps kickstart the system quickly and effectively. Within two to three days, the temperature can rise above 40°C. At this point, move the heated material to the edges and spread it out to promote even fermentation across the entire bedding area. This allows the whole pigsty to be fully operational in a short time.

2) Pre-wet the bedding with warm water. After laying the bedding, spray it with warm water (around 30–40°C). It's best to heat the water directly to that temperature rather than boiling it and then cooling it down. Adding Jinbao fermentation aids during this step can further accelerate the fermentation process.

3) Preheat the indoor space. Before placing the bedding, use fire, air conditioning, or steam to raise the room temperature to 15–25°C. Once the environment is warm enough, proceed with spreading the bedding and applying the Golden Bacteria Fermentation strains. This ensures optimal conditions for microbial activity from the start.

Chlorophyllin

Chlorophyll is one of the most important pigments related to photosynthesis. Photosynthesis is the process of converting light energy into chemical energy by synthesizing a number of organic compounds. Chlorophyll is present in virtually all organisms that can create photosynthesis, including green plants, prokaryotic blue-green algae (cyanobacteria) and eukaryotic algae. Chlorophyll absorbs energy from light, and the energy is then used to convert carbon dioxide into carbohydrates.
