The technical solution for curing root cancer in various fruit trees

Technical Plan to Prevent Root Cancer in Various Fruit Trees

Root cancer, caused by *Agrobacterium tumefaciens*, is a serious disease affecting many fruit trees such as cherries, apples, pears, peaches, and grapes. This technical plan outlines effective strategies for the prevention and treatment of root cancer in different fruit species, using a combination of natural biostimulants, chitosan-based agents, and proper agricultural practices.

1. Cherry Tree Root Cancer Prevention

(1) Test Materials: The oligochitosan citrate calli "Magic Formula 1" produced by Dalian Baoluobao Marine Life Sciences Research and Development Center Co., Ltd., seaweed extract plant immunopotentiation opsonization agent, carboxymethyl chitosan protective agent, and other auxiliary drugs are used. The selected varieties are medium- to late-maturing types. Base fertilizer includes fully fermented farmyard manure mixed with "Magic 1" at a ratio of 1:1000.

(2) Methods:

Prevention Period (Before Planting): Soak seedlings in a mixture of chito-oligosaccharide citrate (500 times dilution) and seaweed extract (1000 times dilution) for 6 hours before planting.

Control Period (After Planting): If symptoms appear—such as grayish-brown resin excretion from the trunk, wilting leaves, or tumor-like growths on roots—scrape the affected areas with a knife, then apply a solution of seaweed extract (1000x), disinfectant (500x), and chitosan citrate (500x). After drying, brush on carboxymethyl chitosan (50x). For severe cases, remove the tumors and treat the wound with a similar mixture, followed by soil sealing after 3–5 days.

Fertilization: Before harvest, apply active biological bacteria fertilizer (1/3 to 1/4 of total) to improve rhizosphere conditions, and spray chitosan citrate (1000x) on the base fertilizer.

2. Apple Root Cancer Prevention

(1) Test Materials: Same as above, plus antibacterial agent “402” and sodium pentachlorophenol.

(2) Methods: Soak seedlings in chitosan citrate (500x) + seaweed extract (1000x) before planting. For post-planting control, expose the roots, cut off tumors, and apply seaweed extract (800x) + chitosan citrate (500x) + carboxymethyl chitosan (50x). Dry the wound and use a disinfectant (402 or sodium pentachlorophenol) to prevent re-infection.

3. Pear Root Cancer Prevention

(1) Test Materials: Chitosan oligosaccharide citrate "Magic Formula 1", seaweed extract, carboxymethyl chitosan, and antibacterial agent “402”.

(2) Methods: Soak seedlings in a mix of chitosan citrate (500x), seaweed extract (1000x), and “402” (800x) before planting. Post-planting, scrape tumors, apply a seaweed extract (1000x) + “402” (800x) mixture, then coat with chitosan citrate (500x) and carboxymethyl chitosan (50x). Re-seal soil after 3–4 days.

4. Peach Root Cancer Prevention

(1) Test Materials: Chitosan oligosaccharide citrate "Magic Formula 1", seaweed extract, copper sulfate, ethyl allicin, ciprofloxacin hydrochloride, etc.

(2) Methods: Choose disease-free nursery sites, and soak seedlings in seaweed extract (1000x) + copper sulfate (100x) + chitosan citrate (800x) for 6 hours. Post-planting, scrape tumors, apply a mix of seaweed extract (1000x) + allicin (500x) + chitosan citrate (800x) + carboxymethyl chitosan (50x), then reseal soil after 2–3 days.

5. Grapevine Root Cancer Prevention

(1) Test Materials: Chitosan citrate "Magic Formula 1", seaweed extract, antibacterial agent “402”, Fumei Shuang, HLB-2 bacteriocin, etc.

(2) Methods: Soak cuttings and seedlings in seaweed extract (1000x) + Fumei Shuang (800x) for 8 hours before planting. Post-planting, remove tumors, disinfect wounds with seaweed extract (1000x) + “402” (800x), and apply chitosan citrate and carboxymethyl chitosan. Re-seal soil after 7–10 days.

Demonstration Sites: Multiple locations across Dalian City, including Ganjingzi District, Jinzhou Agricultural Science Park, and Wafangdian Modern Agriculture Park. Each demonstration covers 100 hectares.

Main Indicators:

  1. Reduce fertilizer use by 20%
  2. Reduce pesticide application by 90%
  3. Increase pollution-free green agricultural products by 10%
  4. Boost nutrient content in produce by 8%
  5. Achieve a 95% cure rate for various fruit root cancers

This comprehensive approach not only prevents root cancer but also enhances overall tree health and productivity, promoting sustainable and eco-friendly fruit cultivation.

Passive Lock

Passive locks are essential security components designed to provide reliable, low-maintenance locking solutions for a wide range of applications. Unlike active locking systems that require electronic control or user interaction to engage, passive locks function through mechanical means, automatically securing doors, cabinets, drawers, or enclosures once closed. They are widely used in residential, commercial, and industrial settings where simplicity, durability, and cost-effectiveness are priorities.

These locks come in various forms such as cam locks, latch locks, cabinet locks, deadbolts, and strike plates. They typically operate by engaging a catch or bolt when the door or drawer is pushed or closed, preventing unauthorized access without requiring keys or combinations to activate the locking mechanism each time. Passive locks are especially valued for their ability to maintain security without ongoing power supply or complex electronic components, making them ideal for environments where reliability and ease of use are crucial.

Common applications of passive locks include furniture cabinets, tool chests, lockers, storage units, and display cases. They are also frequently found in industrial equipment enclosures, electrical panels, and automotive compartments. Many passive locks are constructed from robust materials such as steel, brass, or zinc alloy, ensuring resistance to tampering, corrosion, and everyday wear.

In addition to mechanical durability, passive locks often feature design elements that enhance user convenience, including smooth operation, compact size, and compatibility with various door and drawer thicknesses. Some models integrate childproof features or tamper-resistant mechanisms to provide additional safety in sensitive environments like homes, schools, and healthcare facilities.

Overall, passive locks offer a dependable and straightforward locking solution where continuous security is needed without the complexity of active locking systems. They balance security, functionality, and affordability, making them a popular choice across multiple industries and applications.
