Four reasons for agricultural tractors to disengage

It is one of the common faults that agricultural tractors trip themselves during the process of traveling. There are several reasons for this: Reason 1: The bearing in the gearbox is tampered with, damaged, or the loose nut on the shaft end is loose, causing the spline shaft to work during operation. Axial turbulence causes a shift. Remedy: Replace the bearing and related parts, and tighten the transmission shaft fastening nut. The second reason is that the deformation of the ball fork at the lower portion of the shift lever or the improper adjustment of the operating mechanism causes the stroke of the fork shaft to be reduced when the gear is shifted, and the transmission gear is in a half-engagement state to cause the gear to be disengaged. Remedy: Adjust the shift lever and its drawbars and other operating mechanisms to meet the requirements of the shift stroke, such as the change of the ball head or fork wear should be replaced with new. The reason is as follows: The locking spring is reduced in elasticity or broken. The wear of the fork shaft, the positioning groove or the steel ball causes the failure of the locking mechanism to cause the gear to be disengaged. Remedy: Check locking springs, fork shafts, positioning balls and other accessories and replace them if necessary. Cause four: The gear face wears heavily into a wedge shape, and axial thrust and even automatic decoupling occur during operation. Remedy: Change gears.
