Morphological Features: A perennial herb that typically grows between 60 to 90 cm tall. The entire plant is covered with fine hairs, and it usually does not branch or has very few branches. Growth Habits: This plant is vigorous and cold-tolerant. It prefers cool, moist conditions with plenty of sunlight and well-drained sandy loam soil. It can tolerate partial shade and is resistant to limestone and gravelly soils. The flowering period extends from June through September, making it a long-blooming addition to gardens.
