The Key to Making Shrimp Rich and Grasping The Five Factors to Improve

The culture mode of Penaeus vannamei is still the traditional breeding mode. With the further development of breeding, its drawbacks are increasingly manifested. The traditional breeding mode has been difficult to significantly increase the yield per unit area, the comparative efficiency of breeding has declined, and the quality of aquatic products has declined. The aquaculture environment has deteriorated; the occurrence of diseases has become increasingly serious, and there has been a fulminant epidemic. It is imperative to develop healthy aquaculture. The following aspects should be taken into consideration.

1, stocking quality seedlings

The vertical infection of Penaeus vannamei disease is an important way to spread the disease. Cutting off the vertical infection route and stocking healthy shrimp without viruses are the fundamental guarantee for healthy breeding. Therefore, it is critical to study the development of healthy, non-specific pathogens. At present, Shenzhen has taken the lead in cultivating for the first time in China the highly pathogen-free Penaeus vannamei shrimp (also known as SPF Penaeus vannamei), but the price is relatively expensive, and some farmers are still unacceptable.

2, reasonable stocking density

At present, in the culture process of Penaeus vannamei, there is a widespread phenomenon of high-density seedling release. There is also a common misconception among farmers: It is believed that high-density seedlings can increase yields, and even if some of the seedlings die by the onset, they can still maintain a certain density. As everyone knows, many diseases are caused by too much density. In addition, there is a problem of reasonable matching with other cultured species, because a reasonable combination can not only make full use of breeding space, improve the breeding efficiency of water bodies, but also improve the water culture environment, maintain the microecological and ecological balance of water bodies, and suppress harmful microorganisms. The growth and maintenance of the advantageous status of beneficial organisms play an important role, and thus effectively prevent the occurrence of diseases.

3, scientific management of water

The scientific management of water must first protect the ecological environment inside the shrimp ponds, and comprehensively control the amount of water in each period of the shrimp ponds, the number of feeds to be fed and the amount of residual baits, organic substances, toxic and harmful substances such as sulfides, ammonia nitrogen and other physical and chemical factors. These are directly related to the survival rate and growth rate of shrimp seedlings.

Cultivating aquaculture water is another important aspect of scientific management of water. By properly draining water, other organisms (including zooplankton, phytoplankton, aquatic grasses, beneficial microorganisms, and other cultured objects) in water bodies are cultivated, as well as through fertilization, sprinkling of microecological preparations, or rational use of certain chemicals.

The other aspect of scientific management of water should adopt measures such as sedimentation, filtration, and biological purification of drains, so as to effectively remove the harmful substances in the wastewater discharged from shrimp ponds, and to avoid and reduce new pollution from shrimp ponds.

4, scientific feeding

(1) Pay attention to the quality of the feed. It is required to use full-price compound feed instead of fresh live food. Compound feed requires comprehensive nutrition, low cost, low feed coefficient, easy use, good food intake, and no pollution to water quality.

(2) Pay attention to where the feed is fed. In addition to the location where the feeding is to be fixed, care must be taken that the number of feeding points should be set appropriately, not too much, not too little, to avoid wasting feed and contaminating the water quality. It is necessary to remove the residual bait of the feeding point in time and often disinfect the feeding point.

(3) To determine a reasonable feeding time and frequency. Penaeus vannamei has a habit of nocturnal production, so feeding baits should be based on the habit of P. vannamei and pay attention to feeding more in the evening. In general, a small number of feeding methods are worth praising. The number of feedings can be appropriately reduced in the outbreak season.

(4) To determine a reasonable amount of feeding. The feeding amount should be determined according to different shrimp specifications, different breeding seasons, different climates, different environmental conditions and farming conditions, not fixed ones. Under normal circumstances it is appropriate to not affect the food intake. Be careful not to feed P. vannamei, nor do you want it to affect growth due to insufficient food intake. In the outbreak of the disease, we must appropriately reduce the amount of feeding, which is generally about 80%.

5, rational use of drugs

The purpose of rational drug use is to improve the control efficacy of P. vannamei disease and the quality of P. vannamei. The rational use of drugs means starting from the factors of drugs, pathogens, the environment, aquatic animals themselves and human health, and using drugs with purpose, plan, and effect to achieve the effect of preventing and treating diseases. We should recognize the positive and negative effects of drugs: on the one hand, drugs have the role of preventing or curing diseases or improving the environment, and enhancing the role of aquatic animal constitutions; on the other hand, if drugs are used frequently, it will not only lead to the emergence of pathogen resistance. , so that drug control failure, and will have a toxic or stimulatory effect on white shrimp, destroy the micro-ecological environment of aquaculture water.

To use drugs rationally, we must focus our work on "prevention and prevention." At the peak of the epidemic, according to the epidemiological rules of the disease, drugs that suppress and kill pathogens, or drugs that increase the metabolic function of P. vannamei should be regularly administered to prevent disease. The common method is to mix the drugs into the food, such as adding some antibiotics or Chinese herbal medicines that are sensitive to pathogens (such as Banlangen, rhubarb, garlic, berberine, etc.) and certain vitamins, minerals, etc. At present, in the breeding process, the phenomenon of "retreatment of light and light defense" still exists. Once the disease is abused, drugs are abused, which increases the resistance of pathogens.

Reasonable use of drugs should also be the development and use of special aquatic drugs, fish vaccines, microbial agents, biological fishery drugs and natural herbal preparations as a development direction. Fish vaccines, microbial preparations, biological fishery drugs, and natural herbal preparations will not cause adverse effects on aquatic animals. They are truly green fishery medicines and are one of the most effective and promising development aspects of rational drug use.
