Crop leaf spray fertilizer tips

First, symptomatic use of fertilizer. In order to promote the early development or increase the 1000-grain weight at the later stage, nitrogen fertilizer and phosphorus fertilizer can be sprayed; nitrogen fertilizer and potash fertilizer can be used to increase the leaf area and promote the growth of the vegetative body; micro-fertilizer can be sprayed to prevent physiological diseases caused by lack of trace elements.
Second, choose the type of fertilizer. Fertilizers with good foliar spray efficiency include urea, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, potassium nitrate, potassium sulfate, and ammonium sulfate, as well as leaching solution of superphosphate and plant ash, ammonium metaphosphate, and most trace element fertilizers.
Third, master the appropriate dosage and concentration. Appropriate concentration of foliar spray fertilizer is generally: 1% ~ 2% urea, potassium dihydrogen phosphate 0.3% ~ 0.5%, 3% ~ 5% of superphosphate leaching solution, ammonium molybdate 0.01% ~ 0.1%, ammonium metaphosphate 2% to 3%, zinc sulfate 0.1% to 0.2%, borax (or boric acid) 0.2% to 0.3%, manganese sulfate 0.05% to 0.1%, ferrous sulfate 0.05% to 0.3%, copper sulfate 0.01% to 0.02%. The amount of fertilizer used per mu is 50-60 kg, and the dicotyledon crops such as cotton, rapeseed, legumes, and vegetables should have lower sprayed fertilizer concentrations; rice, wheat, corn, and other monocotyledonous crops have a relatively small leaf area. Fertilizer must be properly increased fertilizer concentration.
Fourth, extend the wet time of fertilization. The amount of nutrients absorbed by leaves during fertilization is related to the length of time the solution wets the leaves. The longer the time of moistening, the more nutrients the leaves absorb and the better the effect. Under normal circumstances, keep the wet time of the leaf in 30-60 minutes to get better fertilizer efficiency.
Fifth, determine the number of reasonable spray fertilizer. Nitrogen and potassium fertilizers are highly mobile in crops, so they can be sprayed once in the critical period of crop growth. Phosphate fertilizers are second to nitrogen and potassium fertilizers and must be sprayed one or two times depending on the crop's growth status. The zinc, molybdenum, manganese, and copper fertilizers that are only partially moved in the crop body and the non-moving boron, calcium, and other micronutrients are generally sprayed continuously for two to three times.
6. Select the best fertilizer application site. The green stems and leaves of crops are a reasonable part of fertilizer spray, especially the young green leaves that grow young, grow vigorously, and have the best fertilizer effect. It is worth noting that when the fertilizer is applied to the dicotyledonous crops, the leaves are sprayed evenly on the front and back, whereas the monocotyledonous crops need only be sprayed from the top to the bottom of the leaves.
