The large molecular groups do not easily infiltrate into the cells, while the hot drinks have more single molecules and can quickly infiltrate the cells and correct the state of water shortage.

Therefore, the thirst-quenching effect of ice water or ice drinks is not as good as hot tea. Moreover, although the ice drinks will bring temporary comfort, but a lot of drinking will lead to poor sweat pores, the body heat is difficult, waste heat accumulation, can easily lead to heat stroke.

Professor Nan pointed out that the temperature of ice drinks, ice water and cold drinks is generally 20°C-30°C lower than the stomach temperature. A large number of cold drinks enter the body and it is easy to stimulate the gastrointestinal tract, causing vasoconstriction and mucosal ischemia, which weakens the stomach. Intestinal digestion and bactericidal power cause spastic pain and even abdominal pain and diarrhea.

For the elderly, especially elderly people with cardiovascular diseases, in addition to causing stomach discomfort, drinking ice water and ice drinks may also cause cerebrovascular spasm, causing angina, etc. Therefore, the elderly must not drink ice water. In addition, summer sports people should not drink ice drinks, because the body's blood is mostly concentrated in the body surface during exercise, the digestive system is temporarily in anemic state, frozen drinks will produce a strong stimulation of the gastrointestinal anemia, so that the blood vessels shrink and aggravate anemia.

Normal people drink beverages with 8 °C - 14 °C. In the hot summer days, you can put boiled water or drinks in the refrigerator and refrigerate it, but it's better not to spend more than half an hour. Don't feel cold when you drink.
