Treatment measures for pin breakage of hammer crusher

The 2500t/d clinker production line of our company, during the production, the main problem affecting the continuous operation of the equipment is that the hammer pin of the clinker hammer crusher breaks, causing the pin to pry out and the hammer to fall off. The hammer of the machine is installed and fixed as shown in Figure 1. There is a through hole of Φ13mm in the middle of the pin. The sleeve is connected with the pin by bolts. The sleeve is simplified to prevent the hammer and the pin from tilting relative to each other. In production, the pin is easily broken from the intermediate opening.

To this end, the fixing method of the pin and the hammer is modified, as shown in Fig. 2. The pin still maintains its original outer dimensions, and the through hole in the middle is removed, and the diameter is reduced at this portion (the reduced diameter is <1 mm). The fixed buckle is assembled to the intermediate diameter reducing position of the pin shaft, and the buckle flange is locked by bolts to prevent the relative movement of the hammer head and the pin shaft.

The modified structure increases the effective cross-sectional area of the middle portion of the pin, thereby enhancing the pin strength. In the past six months since the transformation, there has never been a pin-up exercise.
