Foliar application site

Foliar fertilization has been widely used in nurseries, flower gardens, and urban afforestation due to its rapid absorption, good effect, and low dosage. However, flower growers and garden workers in the application of foliar fertilizer, because the foliar fertilizer is not sprayed in the best position, affecting the exertion of fertilizer efficiency. Then, where is the best place for spraying? The epidermis of the leaves is divided into the upper epidermis and the lower epidermis, all of which have a stratum corneum with a large number of stomata. Comparison of the upper and lower epidermis is not difficult to find: in general, the epidermis is thicker in the stratum corneum and thinner in the lower epidermis; the distribution of stomata is also less in the upper epidermis and more in the lower epidermis. The higher the position of the leaves, the greater the number of stomata. Foliar spraying is mainly done through the stomata and the stratum corneum of the leaves and then transported to various organs. That is, the more pores, the higher the efficiency of absorption; the thinner the stratum corneum, the easier the liquid will pass and the higher the absorption efficiency. Due to the strong physiological function of young leaves, the area occupied by stomata is larger than that of the old leaves, so they are absorbed faster than the old leaves. There are more stomata on the leaf surface than on the leaf surface, and there are loose sponge tissues under the dorsal epidermis. The cell gap is large and numerous. Good for penetration and absorption. Therefore, the young leaves generally absorb water faster than the old leaves and leaves, and the absorption rate is also high. Therefore, we must change the habit of spraying only the upper surface of the blade during spraying, and we must spray evenly the leaves and spray them. Also pay special attention to the spraying of young leaves. Spraying time is best before 10 o'clock in the morning and after 4 o'clock in the afternoon, so as to avoid high temperatures, rapid solution concentration, affecting the effect of spray fertilizer or causing phytotoxicity. This really helps the absorption of plants.
