Hot air heater application in practice

Hot air heater application in practice

Whether it is activation, heating, food processing, melting, shrinking, welding, or sterilization, drying, heating, etc., hot air technology is becoming more and more widely used in industrial processing. Leister's team has always had a strong engineering background and is able to provide professional and advanced design concepts in hot air applications, which has always benefited our customers.

Food industry: In order to make customers feel pleasing to the eye, sometimes the food will be further processed after the production is completed, making the surface smooth and bright. This process often requires Leister's electronic temperature-controlled air heaters.

Automotive industry: In order to permanently join the car door and interior parts, the plastic rivets on the interior parts must be heated first and then pressed by a cooled die to form a riveted joint. A corresponding number of Leister LE MINI heaters are installed on the production line, and individual rivets can be used for precise heating.

Cosmetics industry: Hot air is used in several stages of lipstick production, for example: polishing of the surface of the lipstick, and shrinking the packaging film with hot air during packaging.

Paper industry: Just printed paper products, from simple labels to banknotes, are generally dried with hot air to ensure high printing quality and speed up processing.

The brewing and beverage industry: Heat shrinkable plastics are increasingly being used in place of metal to make caps. When the wine or beverage is filled, seal the bottle with a plastic cap. You can use one of Leister's HOTWIND S hot air blower or LHS series heater, with the corresponding blower, heat the cap to shrink by the spoon-type reflective tuyere, and then firmly seal the bottle mouth.

Logistics industry: In order to ensure that the goods placed on the pallet can be stacked tightly and steadily, a PE shrink film is usually placed on the outside. The Leister heat blower is used to heat the film so that it shrinks and securely wraps the cargo.

Food industry: Leister hot air technology can be used to roast coffee beans. Since the temperature can be precisely controlled, it is possible to prevent the coffee beans from being scorched. With the Leydan hot air blower, the PE coated milk Tetra Pak can be effectively dried, sterilized and heat sealed.
