(I) Watering and fertilizing


1. The hedge conservation in the community should be leached once every 2 to 3 days depending on the weather conditions, and the leaves should be washed once every two months.

2. The hedgerows in the plot shall be given a peanut bran or other organic fertilizer at the end of February each year. The average dosage shall be 30 grams per tree, and the fertilizer shall be covered with soil after application.

3. The hedge in the plot requires a slow solubilizing fertilizer every 3 months. Fertilizer should be strictly prevented from sticking to the branches and leaves or spilling off the roadside. Fertilizer should not be piled up close to the roots of plants.


(B) Pest Control


1. Common pest control:

(1) Powdery mildew: Powder rust is used to control powdery mildew at the onset;

(2) Melasma: Controlled by thiophanate-methyl, mancozeb, and chlorothalonil at the onset of melasma;

(3) Coal pollution: Prevention of coal pollution should be done by clearing plants to enhance light, spraying a mixture of peony and chlorothalonil, and combining killing with insects.

2. Common pests and control:

(1) Locust: Cypermethrin and universal powder are used for prevention and treatment of aphids;

(2) Locust: The control of aphids during the onset of aphids is to use clodex, tachysterone, dicofol, etc.;

(3) scale insects: scale insects with rapid culling, music and other control.

3. The hedgerows in the plot sprayed broad-spectrum insecticides and bactericidal drugs once a month.

4. The hedge spraying is performed with a high-pressure sprayer, which sprays the spray gun into the hedge from the back of the leaf.

(c) Trim

1. The hedgerows in the plot should be cut once every winter and the height should be cut once before the spring starts.

2. In the summer, the growing season should be pruned every 25 days, and the individual long branches should be locally trimmed.

3. Method and procedure for trimming with a hedge trimmer:

(1) According to the proportion (general oil and gasoline ratio is 1:20 to 1:25) with a good mixture of oil, refueling, check the normal operation of the machine before trimming;

(2) determine the trim height, generally not lower than the previous cut;

(3) Cut the positive side first, then cut the horizontal plane, then the minor side;

(4) Repeatedly level and cut the pedicure area;

(5) Clean up the branches and leaves that are cut off, and no branches or leaves can be hung on the hedgerow;

(6) After leaving the operation, do a good job related records.

4. Hedge trim note:

(1) Accurate ratio of oil to gasoline;

(2) When the cold machine starts, pump oil three times. When starting, the hedge trimmer can't face the person. When it starts up, it can't add too much oil. After starting up, take the machine and gradually increase the throttle.

(3) The hand-operated hedge trimmer should observe the principle of horizontal and vertical, and it is forbidden to cut to any part of its body;

(4) In principle, the height of the hedgerow should not be lower than the height of the previous pruning; the cut branches should be thoroughly cleaned after cutting;

(5) The body can't press the hedge when trimming, if the hedge is too wide to be trimmed on both sides of the hedge;

(6) Registration should be made promptly after hedge trimming, spraying, fertilization or replacement.

(IV) Quality requirements for hedgerow conservation


1. The shape of the hedge is clear and the edges and corners are clear;

2. Wall trimming hedgerow side vertical, flat horizontal, no obvious missing shear, no chipping, neat feet;

3. Each time pruning is not more than the last time, the new branches of the established hedgerows do not exceed 5cm;

4. There should be a change in the slope of the hedge trimming, but the slope should be smooth and there should be no obvious interface;

5. Miscellaneous plants and climbing vines produced in hedgerows should be cleared in time.

6. Plants that are poorly grown or severely deformed due to pests and diseases should be promptly replaced with similar plants of similar size;

7. The landscaping supervisor will conduct a quality inspection on the hedgerow in the community every half a month. The inspection results shall be recorded in the “Afforestation Work Quality Checklist” and filed in the Department of Landscaping and Greening for one year, as one of the basis for staff performance evaluation.
